Forts and Fun

Eric and I tried to take Maddie to the park today, but it was too cold to stay for long. Here are two shots of Maddie, who stopped and specifically asked that I take her picture. It was very cute.



On Saturday, Eric and Maddie built her first fort in the living room. Maddie loved crawling through it and soon wanted to put all of her toys and some pillows in there with her. Unfortunately it wasn't big enough to house all of her toys. Eric is going to have to brush up on his fort building skills!

Safe and Warm

Maddie has really gotten into reading "Madeline" lately. At one point in the book, Madeline gets wrapped in a blanket, safe and warm. Maddie has come to love the idea of safe and warm, so she has been spending a lot of time climbing in and out of our bed with various dolls and toys, making sure that everything is safe and warm under the covers. It's very cute - until Eric and I got to bed and find toys in it!

Outfit

Uncle Brendan, watch out! You've got some competition for most creative dresser in the Howell family!

Cuteness

Here are some pictures of Maddie over the weekend. She's getting to be so big! She's finally getting some hair and she's developing a real personality. She's so sweet and watching her grow is amazing.

Super Bowl

We watched the Super Bowl today with Brian and Christina. Maddie was really concerned when anyone would fall down and bonk their head. It was nice to spend time with friends!
