Last weekend we took our annual camping trip to Mt. Rainier with a group of our friends. For the first time in years, the weather cooperated! The trip was really fun and gets easier every year the kids get older. I'm glad we've got this tradition and can't wait to do it again next year!

Virginia Visit - 2011
We've had a busy couple of weeks, including a trip to Virginia to see Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Brendan. While we were there, we swam, fished, canoed, sailed, kayaked, and crabbed. We also met about 40 or so relatives at the Mariner family reunion. Maddie celebrated her birthday in style and was even invited to join the 4-year-old club by her second cousins, Jesse and Rose. It was a great trip that was full of family, fun, and rest.
