Playdate

Today we had Ramona over for naptime and some play time afterwards. Once the girls got up, they found the pack and play to be the most exciting toy. They loved standing in it and shaking the sides and screaming. It was the first time it seemed as if they were "playing" together. Maddie and Ramona would look and one another and then shake the side of the pack and play in tandem.

Weekend Update

Here are some curtains I've finally finished for Maddie's room. I've had the material since before Maddie was born and I've finally made something with it!

Here is a lap desk that Papa Dad got Maddie for Valentine's Day. It's a bit big, but she likes to have it on her lap.

Here is Maddie in her stroller as we were leaving for an after dinner walk. It was cold, so she's well bundled in her new Groundhog's Day coat from her Grandpa and Grandma.

Here's a picture of Maddie wearing one of my headbands. I think she looks like an 80's pop star.

Grandma and Grandpa visit

Eric's parents came to visit over the course of the past week and Maddie sure had a lot of fun hanging out with them. She loved having her grandma and grandpa to play with. Grandma read a lot of stories and grandpa was super silly, so Maddie got stimulated in a lot of different ways. We took Maddie to Theo Chocolates for the tour. It was her third time taking the tour, but it was the first time I let her taste the chocolate! She repeated, "I like that." and "More chocolate!" for the rest of the tour. Of course she cried when she left and spent the rest of the evening in a chocolate frenzy.

Eric and his dad installed our new dishwasher - yay! The dishwasher installation presented a bunch of challenges, from precision demolition of the cabinets to putting in new wiring, but when you've got two engineers on the job, it's sure to come off without a hitch!
