Happy Birthday, Maddie

Happy birthday to my sweet, sensitive, talkative, funny little girl. It's so hard to believe she's not my little baby anymore! Her personality develops more and more with each passing day and it's a funny, sometimes frustrating, amazing, fun experience to see who she's becoming - and to hear what's going to come out of her mouth next! While she's shy with people she doesn't know, she's got quite the personality.

Eric took the day off and we took Maddie to the Children's Museum, which she loves. All she wanted for her birthday was a cupcake. While Maddie was excited about the cupcake and liked the musical cake plate (a throwback to my childhood), she did NOT like the candles. Once we blew them out and took them off, though, she dove right in to the cupcake and ate all the frosting.

While these past two years have gone by so fast, it's also so hard to remember life without my sweet and cuddly little girl.
